How to bold text in markdown

To make any portion of the text bold in markdown all we need to do is add two asterisks * or underscores _ before and after it like so:

This is **bold**
This is **bold** too

which will give us:

This is bold

Similarly, almost all text editors (MDTX included) achieve the same via a bold B button. When pressed it will add four asterisks and any text written between them will be bold, or you can just highlight what you want to be bolded and then press the B button to achieve the same result.
