Adding images
To add an image to your markdown file simply:
- right click the image file on your computer or the image you found online
- select copy or copy image
- right click and select paste to paste it into your markdown file (or just use crtl+v)
Alternatively you can simply drag and drop images into your markdown file!
Regardless of the method used the uploaded image should then be visible in the preview on the right side. MDTX keeps it in a special storage folder until you commit your changes - then it should appear in the repository in the same folder as the markdown file it was pasted into.
While MDTX supports most image types as far as commits go, the preview only supports the following formats:
- .jpg
- .png
- .gif (including animations)
- .webp
- .jfif
